Batik Introduction

Batik, a crafted fabric that undergo delicate and repeated process of waxing, dyeing and boiling. The process starts with preparation of the white cloth; the cloth is then stretched on a frame. The design is then traced/drawn on the cloth using wax pen or batik block. Dye are then applied, after drying the cloth, it is boiled to remove the wax. The final product are then washed and dried before ready for use.
